We had to post this up. I don't think patties are like poker chips but the Cattle Network does.
CattleNetwork.com: At most restaurants, especially the quick service and mid-range variety, patties and poker chips are interchangeable. Drop into a White Castle for a sack of sliders and they’re even the same size: small, thin, and as hard as a brick, at least until they’re dropped on the grill for a few seconds.

Poker News: Survey Gets Views From American Poker Players
Poker News: Survey Gets Views From American Poker Players:
The basics are quite interesting. It was found that seventy five percent of those that were surveyed play poker at least three times a month, with thirty nine percent stating that they play at least five times a month. In another interesting angle, fifty nine percent of online players stated that there is a predominance of skill over luck; that figure rises to seventy four percent when the same question was asked of those who predominantly play in casinos versus the online arena.

If you were hiding under a rock - then you probably missed Joseph Hashem winning the World Series of Poker. We're pretty excited the prize pool has risen to give the winner 7.5 million dollars. WOW!
"When Joseph first touched the piles of money, it was because the media wanted him to hold it up in the air for some photos. As he grabbed two stacks and flipped through them, he looked out towards the crowd, tempted to throw the cash out there. While his finish proved that any two cards can win—Joseph had remarkable poise throughout the evening, and especially during the onslaught of media attention following."

'Fossilman' Is Big Stack at World Series of Poker:
Greg "Fossilman" Raymer might be chatty, likable and wear silly holographic sunglasses, but he's a monster at the poker table, flattening opponents with a gigantic stack of chips that has allowed him to continue his run at another World Series of Poker title. But hours into the fourth round Tuesday, the 2004 champ found himself out of the top 10 after taking two big hits in the prestigious no-limit Texas Hold 'em event.
I'm not sure what they would look like but I bet it's all 1's and 0's.
Poker Playing Robots?:
They don't wear eyeshades or smoke cigars, and their capacity to bluff is somewhat limited. But a new breed of robotic poker player is sending a shiver of fear through the world of the green baize table. It is a poker game being contested in cyberspace, with the ultimate prize being a share of the mega millions being gambled on online poker sites. After all, when you are sitting around a poker table, you've a pretty good chance of telling if your opponent is a robot; competing online is another matter entirely.
We like pad printed chips. Most of all we love anything that doesn't have a stick on label. PokerSupply.com has some really cool chips that are printed instead of being stickered. A special production process and unique features separates these chips from the standard style of poker chips available. The graphic on each poker chip is actually a pad print design that is imbedded in the chip. The print design is NOT a sticker and will never peel off.
