Learning Self Control at the Poker Table One Game at a Time

Poker is a game of skill, luck, and patience. Whether the playing field is a diamond, gridiron or court, the mental side of any game is certainly important. But in poker, where the playing field is about the size of a dining table, the mental side of the game is everything.

In order to better equip themselves for their own competitions at the recent World Series of Poker in Las Vegas, about 45 players took a daylong seminar with two non-poker players whose specialty is the mind - former FBI agent Joe Navarro and mind-set coach Sam Chauhan.
