Pocket Aces Can Get You Into Poker Chip Trouble

Why? Because you'll lose all your chips in a multi-way pot if you're not careful. :-)
Pocket aces might make up the best starting hand in Texas hold' em, but the old line remains a welcome caveat: You can win a small pot with aces, but you can lose a big one.
Ideally, you want to play your aces heads-up against a single opponent because you are at least a 4-1 favorite against another pocket pair. But if you get involved in a multi-way pot, you can find yourself in a lot of trouble if you aren't disciplined enough to lay them down.
"You just have to let it go sometimes," said Johnny Chan, the 1987 and '88 World Series of Poker main event champion.
