The morning's browsings took us to a fantastic gem of a site called Home Poker Tourney. This website is a treasure trove of information, with everything from tournament structue information, to how-to's on dealing, to poker rulebooks. Among these golden nuggets of goodness is a fantastic collection of free plans on how to build your own poker table!

Our favorite was this one from Chris Norrick. The shopping list is helpful, and the use of pipe insulation as a rail seems like a very easy and clever way to accent the table.

If you are the DIY type, or if you're just looking for a table on a budget, you can't go wrong with building one of these honeys.
