Konami Enters Poker Game

Wsopoker 1It seems to be a little late but it seems that Konami has created a casino sim to keep us all busy and they're also calling Hold 'em Poker - All-In Poker - go figure.

All-In Poker for the Xbox heads to retail in March; casino sim features five poker variants, online tournaments.

Whether you are a card shark or a game developer, the poker game is apparently where the money is at. The explosion in popularity of the gambling game has led the way for a flurry of poker games on consoles and handhelds. The latest publisher to throw its hat onto the poker table is Konami, which today announced that All-In Poker for the Xbox will begin taking bets this March.

All-In Poker will feature five poker games, including the wildly popular Texas Hold 'Em, Omaha, and Seven Card Stud. Solo players will learn when to hold 'em and when to fold 'em with "extensive tutorials," and gamble in practice, collection, and bounty modes. Those who like to take virtual money from real opponents can jump onto Xbox Live and take part in online tournaments in an attempt to see their profile on the top of the online ranking list.
