NEWBURY, N.H. -- A man who coached youth baseball in Newbury last year has been charged with endangering the welfare of a child. Court records say Brian Jensen, of New London, made a 12-year-old boy play strip poker and ride naked on an all-terrain vehicle last summer. Jensen, who coached for the Bradford-Newbury-Sutton Youth Sports League, will be arraigned in Newport District Court in two weeks. He said the charges are false.The alleged victim was a member of the baseball team Jensen coached, but the incidents Jensen is charged with occurred after the baseball season ended. Joe Torro, president of the sports league and head of the baseball program, said Jensen was a new coach last summer. He said no one reported any problems with Jensen and that he did a great job as coach.
