Poker Chip Herb Grinder With Pollen Catcher

poker_chip_herb_grinder.jpgIf you are a poker player with certain...proclivities...you may be interested in this poker-themed herb grinder, complete with pollen catcher. It looks like a stack of poker chips, but apparently it grinds herbs very well and it'll fit into your poker chip case no problem. Just don't forget your lighter.

Chip Tricks: Look Like a Poker Pro

chip_tricks.jpgYou don't have to play great poker to LOOK like you play great poker. If you'd rather have style than substance in your game, or maybe if you just want to distract the hell out of your opponents at the table, it may be time to learn some chip tricks.

CHIP TRICKS: Look Like a Poker Pro provides readers with detailed instructions and photographs illustrating each and every step for approximately 31 chip tricks. The book is written in a witty, easy-to-read style and is jam-packed with over 200 photographs (see samples below). The book also covers related topics, such as where to practice the trick and how to ensure that one's newly-learned chip tricks don't become "tells" at the poker table.

Jack Daniels 100pc Clay Poker Chip Set

jack_daniels_poker_chips.jpgIf there are two things that mix well for casual players (you know where I'm going here), it's whiskey and poker. Whiskey's tendency to make one feel invulnerable, leading to big bets, bad plays and hilarious misunderstandings. That's why I recommend you throw a "Jack Daniel's Night" where you supply the booze and the Jack Daniel's poker chips.

Everyone will be drinking Jack and cola all night - except you. You'll be drinking straight cola and raking all the pots. You can send me my percentage of your winnings care of Just the Chips.

European Rectangular Poker Chips

rectangular_poker_chips.jpgWait a minute, what? Rectangular poker chips? No red-blooded American would be caught dead play poker with rectangular chips, right? Well, let's just think about this for a moment. One, if they're rectangular they won't roll away. You can also stack them up and play Jenga with them, which would be exceedingly difficult if they were round. Lastly, as you sit in your stinky basement you can pretend you're playing Baccarat with James Bond instead of Hold 'Em with your friends from college. How can you go wrong really?

Amazon Android Appstore: Poker Apps for your Android

holdem_legends_android_app.jpgAmazon has recently added an Android Appstore to make it easy to browse and download apps for the platform, and of course the first thing I did was search for poker apps. I'm more prone to download apps from Amazon because A) I trust them and B) I can read reviews on a screen bigger than an index card. Call me old fashioned, but it's the little things.

Check out all the Android Poker Apps at Amazon.

Chip Tricks: Look Like A Poker Pro

poker_chip_tricks.jpgWhether you're trying to impress people at the table or just looking for ways to kill time and do something with your hands, poker chip tricks are a great skill to pick up.

Chip tricks, such as the well-known chip shuffle, have been around for almost as long as chip games. However, over the past couple of years, a new level of interest in chip tricks has arisen because of the popularity of poker and because viewers see poker pros doing these tricks at poker events on television. Part of this interest comes from the focus on players' hands during these televised poker games. Part of it is because the players look so cool performing these tricks.

Joker Poker Set

joker_poker_set.jpgIt's not too far out of bounds to think of a Joker when you're talking about cards, but this particular Joker poker set might not be what you think. This one's inspired by the Dark Knight flick, and there's more crazy sauce on it than your typical cards. The set comes with cards that are an exact replica of the cards used by Heath Ledger's The Joker in the movie, as well as 20 poker chips. Sassy!

Poker for Kindle

poker_kindle.jpgGet your poker learnin' on the go with Phil Gordon and Jonathan Grotenstein's aptly-named "Poker" for your Kindle. I don't have a kindle, but I do have it installed on my phone...hello, long bus rides!

(Poker is) a game of skill, and playing well depends on more than just a good hand or the ability to hide emotion. The first step toward developing a style of play worthy of the greats is learning to think like a poker player. In a game where there are no absolutes, mastering the basics is only the beginning -- being able to pull off the strategy and theatrics is the difference between legendary wins and epic failure.

Star Wars Poker Chips: They Light Up With the Force

star_wars_lighted_poker_chips.jpgTwo of my biggest geek centers are Star Wars and poker stuff - here we have found the junction. It comes with 50 Red Darth Vader, 50 Green Yoda, 50 Blue Luke Skywalker, 50 Blue Obi-Wan Kenobi chips, decks of casino quality poker cards in foil boxes, a death Star dealer button in .25" chromed metal, and 72 LED lights powered by 4 AA batteries. OK, so maybe they don't light up with the force, but they sure as hell light up!

Dead Rising 2: High Stakes Edition With Poker Set

dead_rising_2_high_stakes.jpgDead Rising 2 came out last fall, and somehow as a gamer I missed the fact they put out an edition that included poker chips. On top of that, it also includes a map of Fortune City, bonus "psycho" skills DLC, and a chance to win Burt, a 6-foot tall zombie replica.

I'm guessing the Burt train has sailed, and you may not be able to slay anyone at the table with your poker set, but at least you can still murder some undead in Dead Rising 2.
